Intake, conflicts, and trust

These are the highest-trust areas of your practice. CaseFlow Intelligence in these areas only explains or summarizes. A person always makes the decision. All three features are available on the Multi-Practice plan.

To use any of these features, you must first turn on CaseFlow Intelligence and the specific capability.

Lead intake summary

Plan requirement

Multi-Practice plan.

On a lead's profile, you can ask CaseFlow Intelligence to summarize the intake details. It reads what the lead entered (their situation, timeline, and key facts) and produces a plain-English summary of the likely practice area, the key facts, how time-sensitive it looks, and suggested next steps for you to consider.

  1. Open a lead's profile.
  2. Click "Summarize intake".
  3. Review the summary and suggested next steps.
  4. Use the information to decide your next action.

The summary does not decide whether to accept the matter and does not run a conflict check. It only displays what the intake details suggest. The decision to take the matter is yours.

Conflict-review assist

Plan requirement

Multi-Practice plan.

After you run a conflict check, you can ask CaseFlow Intelligence to explain the results in plain English. It surfaces the names and relationship signals that the conflict check already found, under a "Signals to weigh" heading, so you can review them faster.

  1. Open a conflict check's results.
  2. Click "Surface review signals".
  3. Review the signals CaseFlow Intelligence found.
  4. Decide whether any of it is a conflict.

CaseFlow Intelligence surfaces signals to weigh. Whether any of it is a conflict is your decision. It never decides the conflict for you.

Trust-flag narration

Plan requirement

Multi-Practice plan.

On your firm dashboard, when the trust-account checks raise an exception, you can ask CaseFlow Intelligence to explain what each flag means in plain English and what to check.

  1. Open your firm dashboard.
  2. In the trust-account section, when an exception is flagged, click "Explain these trust flags".
  3. Review the explanation for each flag.
  4. Use it to guide your review of the trust account.

CaseFlow Intelligence explains what each flag means. It never moves, adjusts, or reconciles any funds. It works only from the exception flags your own checks already produced; the dollar amounts, client names, and document contents behind them are not sent. The decision to adjust any trust item is yours.
